HISTORY: Animal Crackers Nursery School was established in 1978. We are committed to providing high quality programming to our families. Our school house is designed with your child in mind ensuring safety, cleanliness, and a warm, cozy environment. We offer a developmental program allowing your child to learn and grow at his or her own pace. Our curriculum goals are aligned with the Massachusetts Guidelines for Preschool, the Kindergarten Frameworks and The Creative Curriculum. Children are assessed on an ongoing basis with Parent Teacher Conferences held at least twice each year. Individual portfolios of children’s work as well as personal checklists are kept as part of our assessment system. Our team of professionals strive to provide the best preschool care and education to each child entrusted to us combined with an unsurpassed environment of caring.

FAMILY INVOLVEMENT: Our Parent Group is an active association sponsoring special events and enrichment for our families. A Holiday Luncheon, Bring Someone You Love to School Day, Giving Tree hat/mitten collection and Parenting Workshops are examples of their contribution to our families. Our Parent Group also provides enrichment events during class time. In addition parents are encouraged to participate directly in their child’s classroom or to view their child using the observation window. Weekly newsletters will keep families informed as well.

Animal Crackers Nursery School is licensed by the department of Early Education & Care and has achieved National Accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
